AP Lang– Logical fallacies. It’s a great time in politics to look at these. Last night I was watching the Senate and noticed so many of these. Pick up the handout in Classroom and let’s see what we find.
Wednesday 29 January
English 9H- Comedy essay. Directions in Classroom. Start a Messy First Draft in your notebook.
English 9 SWS- Notebook set-up. Continue the Country Project. Today you should do description, climate, land features, and natural resources.
AP Lang- BWM book review review.

AP Lang- Semester 1 reflection. MC set from exam day.
Thursday 16 January
English 9H– Finish up Poetry Project. Then work on stuff for the exam.
English 9 SWS– Intro and conclusion for the essay. Theme statements.
AP Lang– Presentations continue…
Wednesday 15 January
English 9H– Chromebooks. Day 2. Get your presentation almost done!
English 9 SWS– Write remaining body paragraphs. When you are done, let me see your work. Then we will do the intro and conclusion.
AP Lang– Presentations. Day 2. Please upload your work on the Classroom link. Include any relevant documentation you would like.
Tuesday 14 January
English 9H– Formatting the slides. We have the Chromebooks today and tomorrow. Make good use of this time!
English 9 SWS– Putting together the literary analysis paper. Doc in Classroom. You have done most of this already. We just need to put it together and make it pretty.
AP Lang– Columnist presentations. Don’t forget about the exam writing; you need to bring it to class during exams (or before!). We will do a MC set during the exam period.
