Friday 22 February
English 9H- Continue R&J Act 1. Juliet’s father has a meeting with Paris and agrees to let them meet and decide if they like each other. He will have a party to introduce them.
English 9 SWS- R&J beginning Act 1.
AP Lang- Keep working on the research rough draft. These need to be ready for peer editing on Monday.
Thursday 21 February
English 9- Romeo and Juliet introduction. We will be using MyShakespeare.com for this unit.

First Scene- What is the problem for the whole town? What is Romeo’s problem?
Tuesday 19 February
English 9H– We have 4 things to do today.
First, with your group members, make a reading schedule. You need to be 2/3 the way through this book by 4 March. Use your planner and write down your plan.
Next, please fill out the Q3 goals check in. I will give this to your parents at conferences as a discussion starter. Be honest in your responses.
After that, finish up Friday #20.
Lastly, make sure your poetry revision is turned in on the correct assignment.

English 9H- Did you finish discussing Devour? Did you fill out the form about dystopian books? Revised your poem? At the end of the jigsaw assignment are some questions. Please complete them by Tuesday.
English 9 SWS- Did you finish the Elizabethan slides from yesterday?
AP Lang- What’s this annotated bibliography all about?
Thursday 14 February
English 9H- Have a conversation about parts 7 and 8 of Devour. Investigate why the author wrote this story and what he wants the audience to learn about. Finish the last section titled “Under the House”. Take notes about how this last section ties up some loose ends, but leaves others undone.
English 9 SWS- We are leaving the First Global Age and fast forwarding to Elizabethan England. This is the time of Shakespeare and the origination of modern theater. There is an assignment in Classroom titled “Elizabethan Life”. Complete this according to the directions on the first slide.
AP Lang- Continue your research. Remember all the things you know about this process, esp the part about keeping up with your sources.
