Continuing with the intro to Weaponized Lies.

1. Review the intro that we read yesterday (5-7 min)

2. What is the author’s claim? Come to consensus.

3. Provide two examples that show the author’s bias.

4. Provide two examples of purposeful syntax. What does it achieve?

5. Provide two examples of effective diction. How does the author make an impact on the audience through his words?

Midsummer Night’s Dream– Set up character chart. There are 3 categories of characters: the Nobles, the Rustics, and the Fairies. Create a graphic organizer with the characters in the play. Divide them into the three categories. You may use paper or the iPad for this.
