Today we will be using the iPads to read an article about hunter-gatherer society. Before we begin, let’s talk about how reading and annotating digitally is different and presents some challenges.

2. Discussion “The Man to Send Rain Clouds”. Start with these questions. But we will not stop there; be ready to explore more in depth.

3. Make sure you have your composition books tomorrow.

90-second memoir presentations. For your presentation, you will need to tell us about the book, what made an impression on you, and something about the style of the book. Hopefully you referred back to the writing that you did about the book.

For tomorrow, find a columnist whose work you might like to explore. Bring a paper copy of one article to class on Tuesday.

You will also need to bring your composition book on Tuesday.
