Friday 6 January- English 9

Finish yesterday’s work if you’ve not done so already.

10 minutes to revise/proof Friday #14. Make sure you turn it in when you’re done!

Post on the weekly list. It’s on the front page of the blog.

Tone words graphic- Using this list or another that you find with a Google search of “tone words list nonfiction,” select 10-15 words that you want to include on your list. Write them on your paper. Then, add a short definition for each and a picture or example. When you choose your words, make sure they are ones that will be most useful.

For Friday, you need to read “I Know Why the Caged Bird Cannot Read” on page 89 in the text or at this link. Be ready to talk about argument structure.
