1. Review diction– This video is also linked on the handout posted in Classroom yesterday. Review the handout (first page)

2. Find your paper with the one passage that you selected for today’s class. Tape it on the wall wherever you can find a clear space.

3. Go to another paper besides your own.

4. Find the ONE most important word in the passage. Circle it. Write why it’s the most important.

5. Replace that word with another that changes the meaning. Explain how it changes the meaning.

6. Repeat.

7. Get your own paper back. Reflect on what was written there. Evaluate what you learned and thought of today. Turn it in on the cart.

For Friday- Bring in another piece by your chosen columnist.
