The presidential debate tonight gives us a perfect opportunity to talk about logical fallacies and rhetorical devices.
We can start with a video from PBS. Watch this and be ready to give your own example. Share examples.
Homework- Using the viewing guide, watch at least 30 min of the Presidential debate. Make note of the rhetorical devices and fallacies that you see. Due Thursday. NPR has some suggestions as to how to watch without bias. You can also watch with others via NPR on Facebook.
