Today we start with Act 1, Scene 2 and are introduced to the rustics. This group of working-class men want to put on a play to entertain the Duke on his wedding day. They choose the story of Pyramus and Thisbe, which is an ancient Greek myth.
After we finish this scene, you will have time to work on the notes and this week’s Friday paragraph (now posted in Classroom).
