  1. Timed writing analysis- In Classroom you will find the scoring guide and student samples. First, read the scoring guide and prompt. Next, read the student samples. Decide which is inadequate, adequate and effective. Write a rationale of the middle score. Why does that one score in the mid-range or adequate category?

  2. Pick up the reading for tomorrow in Classroom called “Save the Whales; Screw the Shrimp”. Read and annotate this text for an activity in class tomorrow. Here’s a video of a dude sitting in the woods reading this aloud. Really. Check it out.

On  your blog, write a summary of what you found. Tell what kind of businesses are in these communities, how they are similar/different from Rochester, and what ideas you might be interested in researching.
