If you were not here on Friday, get a copy of In Cold Blood from the box on the cart and write the book number on the iPad list. Link to a pdf of the text above, if you prefer that.

We are working with the article that you read and annotated for class today. Skim back through it paying attention to the argument that is presented in the piece. Next, create this graphic on paper (or digitally, if you’re feeling adventurous). Fill in the details on your graphic.

When you’re done, start reading ICB. Caution. The murder scenes and descriptions are kind of gory. Feel free to skip that section as needed. Try to have the first part,”The Last to See Them Alive” read for class on Friday.

Happy Monday! Did you turn in Friday #15? It’s dead at midnight. While you’re in Classroom, go ahead and pick up Friday #16. This one is a creative topic so have fun with it!

Today we will watch the part of the film version of The Odyssey dealing with the Trojan War. This segment sets up the rivalry between Odysseus and Poseidon. Begin at 8:00 and stop at 28:30.

Tomorrow we will pick up with the text as Odysseus encounters the Lotus Eaters.

2. Go to Classroom to pick up Friday #16. Same deal. Due Friday, dead on Monday.

3. Open the short story “Eleven” in Classroom. Read, do the questions at the end and turn it in.
