Review your article that you read on Tuesday. Turn to a partner and take turns summarizing your article. You must talk for ONE minute.
Review TONE. This video does a good job of explaining it. This other video is even more in depth.
Now, with your partner, work through your answers for the tone and bias question. Remember, you need specific text evidence. If you need a super-quick review, check out this video.
Independent practice- Read this short article. On the document titled Nonfiction Skills Practice, identify the tone of the article, provide evidence for the tone, and explain the author’s bias.
